We are currently revamping our website. We've had the current set up for ages, and the time for some renovation has arrived! Over the coming month keep an eye on the News section for information and changes about the Guild and Forums!

Silent Force Expansion Plan

Silent Force is an Alliance guild on the Mug'thol server.  We are a very close-knit family of players, who play to enjoy the game rather then play it as a secondary job (or for some people a primary job).  Our main goal is to have fun and make friends, all the while obtaining loot and gear at a calm, relaxing pace.

Besides raiding, we like holding "special events" which consist of naked races from point-A to point-B, running an Undercity Nascar race (ask in our forums if you would like more info on this one), and even throwing Hordelings off of the elevators in Thousand Needles!  All in all, we are a guild aimed at enjoying the game for what it is... a GAME.

Silent Force Expansion Plan Begins!

This is something that has been in the works for some time, and now after months of planning, its execution has arrived!

It is my pleasure and priviledge to announce that the time has arrived for the Silent Force family to grow. Over our 10 year history , we have called World of Warcraft our home for the past 5 years. We have existed as a single game guild which moved from game as a group.

Some of our membership has already tried out alternate gaming venues. However, with Warcraft arguably well past prime, it is inevitable that we will proceed beyond. It goes without mention that as much as we may still enjoy Warcraft, there is still Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and various other new MMOs on the horizon catching our interest!

Rather than atrophy and splinter into oblivion, we chose to embrace this diaspora and become a multi-platform guild.

Allow me to introduce you to the SF Expansion Plan.  There is a lot of work involved in changing our bureaucratic and social mindset from a Warcraft-Oriented system to a universal community which can be applied to any gaming system.

The greatest feature of this expansion plan is it is finally forcing us to ask important questions about what it means to be a part of Silent Force by expanding our values so far applied to WoW, to universally applied ideals.

The coming changes are going to wreak havoc on the established system. I ask for all to please lend us your patience, and if possible, assistance.

If you have any questions, concerns or ideas about how this expansion will be proceeding, please do not hesitate to contact Corsten in game or through the forums, private or publicly. Any officer of Silent Force will also be able to provide assistance.

And so it begins. It's been a lot of work for me so far hammering notes into documents, and so far it's all just executing the plan to make it happen! I'm terrifically excited to see how this goes and I hope collectively we'll be better from the result.
